The Traces of Art

Traces, signs, tracks repeated as textures on a canvas or on a sculptural material. The creation of rhythm through colour, light and volumes. The project’s goal is that of analysing the concept of “repetitiveness in art” by observing some works of the Cento’s “Galleria D’Arte Moderna” (Modern Art Gallery) and by creating some clay tablets on which any child may set his or her own fantasy free by scratching, imprinting, engraving or carving by using simple tools. A major interest of the project is the fact that it is open to classes having also disabled pupils.
