In this project I had the opportunity to write original music and arrangements for the ALBA REGIA Symphony Orchestra of Székesfehérvár (Hungary). My compositions and arrangements will be premiered on June 29th 2018.

Medley and evergreen songs from the Italian Pop repertoire, such as Azzurro, Ancora ancora ancora, Funiculì Funiculà, Tammurriata nera, ‘O Sarracino, Grande grande grande, Vivo per lei, and many other famous Italian songs, have been chosen according to their success andfame they have in Hungary. They will be performed by the Symphonic Orchestra ALBA REGIA of Székesfehévar for the concert “Parlami d’Amore 2 Canta San Remo” of 29 June 2018.

Gherdëina, Gherdëina: orchestral arrangement

This piece should be used outdoors and for the celebration of the 50th anniversary for the FIS SCRI world cup in Val Gardena (Italy), as requested by the client, I wrote an introductory part of symphonic character for large orchestra. This element (symphonic), however, had to be maintained throughout the arrangement, characterizing an execution that goes back to the Viennese Waltzes, thus enhancing this famous traditional melody.

Parlami d’Amore concert Székesfehérvár (Hungary): original music and arrangements

In this project I had the opportunity to write original music which was then performed as a premiere by the ALBA REGIA Symphony Orchestra of Székesfehérvár (Hungary).

I also arranged and orchestrated medley and Evergreen songs such as “My Way”, “Blue Painted Blue”, “Tu ca nu chiagne”, and many others, also for the evening concert with the Symphonic Orchestra ALBA REGIA of Székesfehévar.

“La Signora Matilde”: original music for documentary film

In this production I was involved by the composer Riccardo Nanni for the production of the soundtrack and I contributed with 4 original compositions that lent themselves well to different moments of the narration. Some epic symphonic music accompany situations of suspense and circumstance.

L’amico Fritz: transcription and orchestral adaptation

In this specific project, the available orchestra had fewer instruments than the original score of the composer Pietro Mascagni (1863-1945). I have thus dealt with the reduction of the workforce by rewriting and completely re-adapting the lyric comedy in 3 acts “L’Amico Fritz”, for a number of inferior instruments.

(13 Instrumentalists, soloists and choir).

It is a long and meticulous work that must be carried out with great attention and concentration.
